Guideline for RMA Procedure (Return of Material Authorisation)

Dear valued business partner,

Please follow the instructions below to ensure a prompt and efficient service when returning a product to Emtrust for repair.

Procedure of RMA

  1. Apply for a RMA Reference number using this website form.
  2. The RMA Number will be issued within two working days.
  3. Please clearly indicate the assigned RMA Number on the outside of your delivery note/packing slip and packaging.
  4. A quotation with estimated costs will be provided for all out of warranty products.
  5. After approval of the estimated costs we will repair and return the products.

Please Note

  • Emtrust cannot guarantee a proper treatment for returned products without a RMA number.
  • If we cannot reproduce the failure as described and the product passes our internal qualification tests, the product will be returned. In this case a handling fee of 98,00 Euro plus shipping costs, plus VAT if applicable, will be charged.
  • A RMA number issued by Emtrust is only valid to return a product and should never be considered as a credit or a contract to repair the product free of charges.
  • Make sure that the products are carefully packed in a shock and ESD proof packaging. The warranty will be voided for products that have been damaged during the shipment to EMTrust GmbH.
  • The warranty will be voided for any products that have been altered or for damages that have been customer induced or due to customer neglect.
  • EMTrust GmbH is not responsible for any damages or lost of data such as software provided or installed by the customer. The customer should take the necessary precautions to prevent any problems resulting from the lost of data.
  • EMTrust GmbH only accepts prepaid delivery of material returns.
